15 Wrestlers Every WWE Superstar Should Study

4. Eddie Guerrero

Prime Years: 1994 - 98 & 2002 - 05 Why He Should Be Studied: There was seemingly no area of the business that the multi-talented, and sorely missed, Eddie Guerrero couldn't master. Need a plucky, high-flying babyface? Eddie's your guy. Cowardly heel? Call Eddie. He could make you laugh, cry and make you want to punch him in the face - all in the space of one match. Eddie should be studied for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, his technique was exceptional. Eddie was as smooth as silk, whether he was wrestling a technical, lucha or brawling style of match. Oftentimes, he would blend many different styles together, to create something truly unique. Yes, Eddie was a master in the squared circle, but he was also a complete pro when it came to the other aspects of the business, such as backstage segments and in-ring promos. Latino heat could play comedic foil (check out his stuff with Chyna in 2000) or total psychopath (such as in his 2005 feud with Rey Mysterio) with apparent ease. There's so many different facets to Eddie's game and he had such a successful career in Mexico (Los Gringos Locos are supremely underrated), Japan (as the masked Black Tiger), ECW, WCW, the indies and the WWE. The pros agree, too: CM Punk and Sasha Banks are just two stars who call Eddie the greatest of all-time.
