Prime Years: 1996 - 2000 (he peaked early) & 2008 Why He Should Be Studied: Okay, put your pitchforks away, folks. Yes, the Big Show that we currently see on Raw every week (whether we want to or not) is slow, broken-down and directionless. He's clearly in the twilight of his career but, once upon a time, he was a hell of a big man. As well as performing dropkicks and kip-ups, rumour has it that Paul Wight was, at one point, capable of executing a breathtaking moonsault. That was probably before he decided he loved fast food and loathed exercise, however. Despite his decline, Show is someone who should be studied. There are few giants in wrestling nowadays and, the giants that do come along, are of the Great Khali variety. Show may not be having classics on a regular basis or anything, but he's very good at being a big man and working to his strengths (literally). Any big man/super heavyweight on WWE's roster should watch Show. See how he moves and carries himself, how he sells (or doesn't sell) and the psychology he employs against his (usually) smaller opponents.
