Droz was already under WWE contract when he appeared in ECW in 1997 and 1998. Sent to the company to get more seasoning before making his debut, Droz was part of a mini WWE invasion with manager Lance Wright and flash-in-the-pan German muscleman Brakus. While The Wright Connection never made much of an impact in ECW, Droz soon found himself in WWE and had a successful career that was cut short by tragic injury.
