4. Kane Is The First Wrestler To Be Set On Fire - Unforgiven 1998
When most WWE fans think of fire, they usually associate it with Kane. In this case, Kane would also be associated as being the first wrestler to be set on fire. While he didnt go up in a full blaze, during the first ever Inferno Match at Unforgiven 1998, where the objective was to set your opponent on fire, Undertaker didnt hesitate to deliver his brother a little baptism by fire by kicking Kane into the flame. Kane was certainly feeling the heat as he ran off to the backstage area while his entire arm was consumed by the fire. It was quite a sight to see, and the fans were eating it up due to the precedence it set on wrestling shows as a form of entertainment. Fortunately there were no serious burn related injuries during this match. Major props should be given to Kane for being so willing to risk having his body set on fire for the sake of entertainment. Since that time, there have been three other inferno matches with Kane being in every single one of them. Most wrestlers have a rough time wrestling 300 plus days a year, but at least they dont ever have to worry about being set on fire.
