3. John Cena
Up until this week's Raw, the last time we saw John Cena, he was rather unceremoniously relieved of the United States Title from a returning Alberto Del Rio in the opening contest at Hell in a Cell in October. Since then, Cena had been taking his scheduled time off to pursue other projects outside of the WWE, including his role as the host of a new reality show, American Grit and as a drug dealer in the recent film starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Sisters. Weve wondered for years what the WWE would look like once Cena finally hung up his boots, but now it seems the man is creating a future for when that day comes. That being said, John Cena is still a WWE guy, and though he may be gearing up to pass on the torch as he attempts to go down the same road that The Rock did, Cena likely feels he has a lot more to accomplish as a cornerstone of the WWE roster. Hes merely one WWE World Championship away from Ric Flairs record for the most reigns, and two away from shattering it completely. With the amount of work that has been put into making Cena to face of the company over the last decade, it would be a surprise for them to stop now. Cena has spent all of 2015 rejuvenating the mid-card scene, bringing the United States Title straight back from the brink with his open challenges, so the possibilities are essentially endless for him now that he's re-emerged. A rematch with Del Rio for the title will surely be a lock-in, but after that, maybe well finally see him take on The Undertaker at WrestleMania? Its a match a lot of people have been hoping to see for years, and with the Deadman on his last legs, it's now or never. Throw in at least one World Title opportunity, and potential, win, and 2016 has John Cena written all over it.
