5. Demon Days

It seemed that Hell itself was closed - let alone there be a chance within it that Finn Bálor would appear at SummerSlam as a Demon for the first time since he threatened Bray Wyatt with a pumpkin version of himself late last year. How brilliantly incorrect that original assertion was.

For his part, Baron Corbin sold seeing red and black like he was seeing white. Finn's height, his accent and his other mocked weaknesses against the 'Lone Wolf' were cast aside by the power of his inner demon bursting out all over Monday Night Raw's 'Constable' in a comprehensive conclusion to their hackneyed hostilities.

It also represented some fantastic card maintenance. The show was in dire need of another palette-cleansing squash, and this was just the ticket. Finn - as he always is when covered in paint - was virtually indestructible and impenetrable for a limited performer like Corbin to negotiate.
