6. Punch In The Face

Can anything in WWE live up to one of their really, really, really good video packages?

The build up to Daniel Bryan Vs The Miz hadn't exactly been to everybody's taste before Tuesday's go-home show chronicled their rich history in three exceptional segments, but the deep-rooted differences between them looked set to create a battle that would be talked about for years to come.

And you will, if you like odd wrestling gear as much as I do.

To be honest though, if the thought of Daniel Bryan sporting Seattle Seahawks-inspired green, blue and white gear doesn't remind you of this match, very little will. The match had little to it outside of select moments of Tomohiro Ishii-esque indestructible seeing from Bryan and the excellent face-punching finish facilitated by Maryse's deft smuggling of some brass knuckles.

There's more to come from these, but the later the better. The more time they've got to iron out the flaws that ate away at this maiden encounter, the better.
