15 WWE Superstars With The Most Wins At SummerSlam

10. Kurt Angle – 5 Wins

It’s true, it’s true; Kurt Angle has a fantastic SummerSlam record of 5 wins and just the sole loss.

Not only that, Angle lived up to his submission specialist mantle when it came to the August extravaganza.

Despite losing his first SummerSlam bout (a triple threat involving The Rock and HHH), Angle’s finest performance would come the following year at the 2001 event. He’d get a DQ win over Steve Austin, meaning the Rattlesnake kept the WWF Championship, but the bout itself was one of the finest of Angle’s career.

After that, 2002 saw the Olympic Hero make Rey Mysterio tap out, 2003 would see Brock Lesnar tap out as Angle retained the WWE Championship, 2004 would see Eddie Guerrero tap out, and then 2005 saw Angle dismantle Eugene in another submission victory.

Many have hopes (no matter how distant) of a WWE return for Kurt Angle. If so, expect to see him look to add further SummerSlam wins to his already-impressive record.
