Batista’s 2004 SummerSlam debut would see him on the losing end of a triple threat involving Chris Jericho and Edge. From there on out though, it was all about picking up the wins.

Now an established main eventer, SummerSlam 2005 saw Batista retain his World Heavyweight Championship against JBL in a No Holds Barred bout. He’d then get a DQ victory over King Booker at the following year’s event, and another DQ win in 2007, this time against Great Khali.

Without doubt, the biggest SummerSlam win for Batista came in 2008 as he got a rare win over long-time foe John Cena.
