6. Hacksaw Jim Duggan - 2 X 4

Rarely seen without his faithful 2X4 slung over one shoulder and with a name like €œHacksaw€, it was suitably poetic that a plank of wood became such an iconic part of Jim Duggan€™s immensely popular wrestling persona, one worthy of his place in the WWE Hall of Fame. Let€™s be honest, he would be unrecognisable without it. Often pitched against an unlawful foreign villain, €œHacksaw€ was the personification of American patriotism, a genuine blue collar character who clenched the red, white and blue Flag in one hand and his 2X4 in the other on the journey to the ring - regularly using the latter to clobber Soviet fiend Nikolai Volkoff during their legendary battles.
