16 Awesome Stories From Eddie Guerrero Tribute On Talk Is Jericho

2. Jericho's Favorite Match With Eddie

Jericho says he didn't wrestle Eddie as much as people might think, mentioning that the two of them had some great matches such as Fall Brawl 1997 but that was back when nobody in the crowd cared about them and they were performing to dead silence. Jericho calls the few times he got to team up with Eddie "the greatest tag team that never was" before saying that his favorite match with him was the two of them against Malenko and Benoit for the Brian Hildebrand tribute show in honor of the late referee (real name Mark Curtis). He says he's never gone back and watched and he never will, but that it's such a fond memory. He reiterates that the two of them were a world class quality tag team who never got a chance to run with it. "The four of us were friends, and to be in there together in honor of our other friend, it was one of the greatest moments of my career."
