2. Drew McIntyre

No one who returned or debuted in 2018 was more consistently well-booked than Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre showed up on Raw during the Superstar Shakeup alongside Dolph Ziggler, forming a tough duo that won the Raw Tag Team Championships. Drew also helped Dolph win and retain the Intercontinental Championship, and formed a brief partnership with Braun Strowman to compete against The Shield. He hasn’t backed down from anyone during his time on the roster.

Even when his team lost, McIntyre never took the pin and always looked strong. He’s now positioned as someone who could take on Strowman or even challenge Brock Lesnar if the situation warranted it. He looks, acts and sounds like a legit top guy.

McIntyre’s 2018 established himself in a way that he never did during his previous WWE run. It’s hard to call his second run anything but a success so far.
