13. Seth 'Freakin'' Rollins Vs. Logan Paul

Logan Paul continues to be brilliant at this given his level of experience. It's almost as if talent should learn how to connect with an audience and then arrive in WWE, and not go through a Performance Center that asks wrestlers to bring friends and family along to ensure a positive reaction.

Paul isn't a perfect wrestler by any means; because he's far away from mastering an art he's only tried his hand at five times, some of his stuff here didn't look impactful. His Buckshot lariat is significantly better in the set-up stage, for example. But because he's an outstanding performer, and reasonable people extend a bit of latitude to his technique, his stuff gets over. He is excellent at smugly gloating to the audience, at looking so pleased with himself in the spaces between moves.

Some of the best wrestlers of the 21st century have bombed on the 'Mania stage. More than once. Paul is 4-0 in the difficult stadium setting.

In the best spot of the match, the wider story was told through a tremendous action set piece. Paul, the jagoff influencer or whatever he is, took too long to drill Rollins through a table, and Rollins used his experience and babyface cunning to swap places with KSI, who took the bump in a quality slapstick gag. The subsequent false finish was even better. Everybody in the stadium thought Seth had won with the Pedigree.

This was another great display of Seth's top star credentials, which are up for (good faith) debate. There are significantly more 7s than 10s in his body of work.

Here, as with Dominik Mysterio at SummerSlam 2020, he went some way towards proving himself a modern great.
