16 Most Illustrious Fake Families In Wrestling History

7. The Giants

When The Giant first debuted in WCW wayyyyy back in 1995, he was explicitly stated to be the long-lost son of Andre the Giant, hell-bent on ending Hulkamania in retaliation for, uh, a pinfall loss his estranged dad suffered in 1987. Look, no one ever said Big Show needed a good reason to turn heel on somebody.

Although WCW backed off from the claim pretty quickly -- Show was apparently uncomfortable exploiting the death of Andre -- all the evidence was still there. That old school off-the-shoulder caveman singlet was pretty clearly supposed to be a family heirloom. You know, of the The Giant family.

Maybe Big Show keeps turning heel on the world because his own "father" didn't bless him with a first name.
