11. The Valiants

Jimmy and Johnny were the original Valiant Brothers, first coming together in the old Indianapolis-based WWA in 1974. They captured the WWA tag titles, but soon made their way to the then-WWWF, becoming champions there as well.

In 1976, they expanded their Hardy-esque Quest for Gold to the NWA, where they captured the Georgia Tag Team Championships, the U.S. Tag Team Championships, and the San Francisco version of the World Tag Team Championships.

When Jimmy retired from active competition, a third Valiant brother -- Jerry -- was invented, and he teamed with Johnny to win the WWE Tag Team Championships. Of course, none of the Valiants were related in the first place; they kind of looked alike, but "Gentleman" Jerry was from Canada, "Luscious" Johnny was Pennsylvanian, and "Handsome" Jimmy was clearly a caveman/hillbilly hybrid from the backwoods of Tennessee.
