16 Purest Babyfaces In Wrestling History

4. Sami Zayn

The 'Underdog From the Underground' might be the most sympathetic character on WWE television. Even more than Bayley, his career has been about proving himself every step of the way; while she had an extended run as a dominant champion in NXT, Sami was quickly and decisively dethroned by Kevin Owens in his first major title defense.

Everything Sami Zayn gets feels earned, but also, crucially, deserved; when Sami finally won the NXT Championship, it was thanks to a conscious choice to reject using the belt as a weapon, even in a "turnabout is fair play" sense. That's right; Sami Zayn is so pure that he doesn't consider turnabout to be fair play.

He is also very humble and respectful during backstage interviews, which both set him apart from 90% of pro wrestlers ever and makes him seem even more like a genuinely nice guy.
