9. His Time Is Not Quite Yet, Give It A Little Bit Longer
Asked about the company’s plans for John Cena in the aftermath of his ‘surprise’ appearance at WrestleMania 32, the information was a little sketchier.
“John is still rehabbing from what I know. Dont think he will be back full time till May.”
That answers a few questions, for those who were wondering why Cena didn’t appear on RAW this week. Other sources have since confirmed that Cena isn’t fully recovered yet, despite an interview last week in which he indicated that he considered himself to be 100%.
At present, his docket reads ‘AJ Styles’ as the number one contender: but the day after WrestleMania, Roman Reigns teased a potential confrontation with Cena upon his return, for bragging rights as to who the top dog was.
If that’s a hint as to the official plans come the summer, then I’m all for it, especially with the arrogant, entitled persona that Reigns looks like developing after this week’s RAW. Bring. It. On.
