16 Things We Learned From Dean Ambrose On Stone Cold's WWE Network Podcast
4. Thoughts On Brock Lesnar
We get into the juicy portion of the interview as Austin asks about Dean's match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32. He wants to know all about the experience wrestling The Beast in front of such a huge crowd.
Ambrose says that he went to the ring that night "pretty p*ssed off" because he had no idea what was going to happen. He went out there with not much of a plan, and felt like he was pulling teeth to turn that match into something epic.
Austin asks if it was a disconnect in styles artistically. Dean replies that "Artistically, Brock didn't want to do anything. You know what I mean? Brock's gonna Brock. I had a vision for that match to be the craziest thing imaginable. I was trying to pitch everything to everybody and I put so much effort in and other people did too and I was met with laziness."
He kept thinking that once they got in the ring they'd figure it out and everything would be okay. He says it's an invigorating feeling knowing that you're in the ring in front of 100,000 people with a man who can kill you with his bare hands. It's the kind of feeling he lives for.
