8. Nearly Quitting Over A Rib

Henry talks about the time he almost walked away from WWE over a practical joke that was played on him. He was sent out to the ring for a dark match at the end of the show not knowing who his opponent would be. The production truck cued up various wrestlers' music without them appearing until Mark realized it was a rib. He says he grabbed the microphone and started cutting a promo and they cut the sound off on him. He smacked the mic a few times and began talking again but once more they cut the sound on him. A furious Mark Henry stormed up the ramp "ready to whoop everybody's *ss, Vince included" but they had all fled the arena by the point. In a fit of rage did about $10,000 worth of damage to equipment in the gorilla position.
