"There's no substitute for experience," said Corey Graves, and that's why The Miz has the advantage in every one of his matches. Normally, that might be true. It wasn't on SmackDown.

Miz was in there with Jeff Hardy, a man who (funnily enough) had way more experience as a pro wrestler than his heel opponent. In fact, Jeff has close to a decade of ring time over The Miz (Hardy debuted in 1993 and Miz began training in 2003).

Someone as sharp as Graves usually is should have been on the ball when making such a point. He suggested that Miz was a wily in-ring veteran who had the edge over a wily in-ring veteran, and that skewed logic just doesn't work.
