16 Things You Probably Missed From WWE Raw (Aug 30)

1. Three Grudge Matches Didn’t Happen

Right, what was this all about?

WWE hyped The Miz vs. John Morrison, Doudrop vs. Eva Marie and Bobby Lashley vs. Sheamus last week. All three were positioned as "grudge matches" that'd give this week's episode a fiery feel, but exactly none of the pre-advertised showdowns actually happened.

Morrison worked Omos in a short squash, Sheamus wrestled a rugged three-way for the US belt, Lashley challenged for the Raw Tag-Team straps and Eva vs. Doudrop never got officially underway. In effect, WWE promised three matches and then scrapped all of them.

This shouldn't become a habit.
