16 Wrestlers Who Must Feature In WWE's Crown Jewel World Cup

14. Scotland - Drew McIntyre (Sidgwick)

Drew McIntyre could do with winning this, looking at the remaining 2018 calendar.

We are going to see at least one—at least—six man tag team affair between the Shield and the Dogs of War, and spoiler alert, this programme is designed to put over the Roman Reigns singles act by disguising it entirely. Dolph Ziggler is the designated jobber in this scenario, obviously, but the tangential association with such a loser is an invitation to see Drew as, quite literally, the opposite of the Chosen One.

He’s Scottish, which would ordinarily doom in high comedy fashion, but this is worked. None of this matters, per se. Braun left his green belt in the desert when he won the eponymous Greatest Royal Rumble.

But the sight of Drew pinning a succession of stars might make up nine seconds of the pre-match hype video when it comes time for Drew to Terminate the guy he had carried all along.
