16 Wrestlers Who Must Feature In WWE's Crown Jewel World Cup

9. Iran - Ariya Daivari (Sidgwick)

Daivari Brothers Greatest Royal Rumble
WWE

Hilariously, WWE booked a Saudi Arabia Vs. Iran angle at the Greatest Royal Rumble which, peak problematic WWE though it was, actually generated a reaction from the fans.

Daivari was of course born in Minnesota, but in true World Cup style, it’s not as if he can’t lean on his heritage to embark on an international career. Much like a Ciaran Clark, comprehensively not good enough to play for England until Rafa Benitez made him better than John Terry ever was, Daivari is hardly going to represent the U.S.

If he carries the Iranian flag again, he will be more over than Shawn Michaels on the show that will act as the road to his in-ring return.

Get him in the final.
