If covering SmackDown every week has taught me one thing, it's that the main event almost always ends in a DQ. For some reason, WWE are majorly reluctant to put anyone over at the end of the show, usually ending matches via a DQ and one of two further scenarios - a prolonged beatdown by the heels, or a brave fightback by the babyfaces. This week's show was no exception, as Kevin Owens drew a DQ for himself and Sheamus, throwing a section of the announce table directly onto Dean Ambrose. The villainous pair then prepared to put him through the table itself, only for Neville to save the day with a plancha. Owens was then dragged into the ring and hit with both Dirty Deeds and the Red Arrow - which at least gave Neville a measure of revenge, but would it kill WWE to end SmackDown in decisive fashion for once?
