Within a year of debuting in WWE, Brown feuded with World Champion Macho Man Randy Savage throughout the house show circuit, taking part in 'Harlem Street Fights' that were befitting of his malevolent loner character. The fact that Brown was already in his mid-forties speaks volumes to the faith held in him as a performer. Brown only worked for Titan for a span of less than three years, but certainly his run in Stampede Wrestling has to be considered. Brown's blood feud (as Bad News Allen) with the recently-departed Archie Gouldie would have been more legendary if the realism didn't inadvertently wound the territory as a whole. You also have to admire the character consistency of a heel that hated and distrusted the other heels on the roster, and rarely wavered from those instincts. In the role, Bad News was ahead of his time.
