17 Former WWE United States Champions Who Never Won A World Title

4. Mr. Kennedy

Ken Anderson, also known as Mr. Kennedy, is the only Money in the Bank winner in WWE history to lose his briefcase to another superstar by putting the career-changing contract on the line. He wrestled for multiple promotions during his pro wrestling career and even won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship two times. However, Kennedy could not achieve the same feat in WWE.

The Minnesota-based wrestler's only title triumph in WWE came during the year 2006 when he defeated Finlay to win the United States belt on SmackDown. His reign lasted for 42 days as Chris Benoit took the title away from him after a few weeks. After leaving Vince McMahon's promotion in 2009, Anderson returned to TNA before joining the independent circuit in 2016.

He is a part of the NWA right now. The probability that the ACW Hall of Famer comes back to WWE and wins the world title is zero.
