'The Destroyer' Samoa Joe has won the United States Championship twice in his career. His first triumph came on SmackDown Live! when he defeated R-Truth, Andrade, and Rey Mysterio in a fatal four-way match to win the title. The former NXT Champion held the belt for nearly three months, battling with the likes of Ali, Kurt Angle, and Mysterio.

'The Master of 619' dethroned him as the champion at the Money in the Bank event of 2019. However, because of an injury, he voluntarily relinquished the belt to Joe after 15 days. Although 'The Samoan Submission Machine' regained his title, Joe lost it soon to Ricochet. He has been a prominent name on the main roster. Still, he has never been able to capture the world title in Vince McMahon's company.

He battled with Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Great Balls of Fire and then had intense rivalries with AJ Styles and Kofi Kingston for the WWE title. Unfortunately, he lost all the opportunities that he received. Now, he is working as a commentator on Monday nights.
