14. The Opener
The curtain-jerking spot on Pay Per Views doesnt have the stigma it had in the past. Its up to the opening match to set the tone of the evening. Jericho vs. Regal for the Intercontinental Title was the right way to start off the show. It was a short, fast-paced match that also had some chain wrestling involved, as the two were already masters of their craft. One of the best parts of the match was Regal hitting a stiff back suplex on Jericho (a move hed also use a year later against Rob Van Dam in the opener of Wrestlemania X8). Jerichos win popped the crowd with a nice babyface triumph. The show was already off to a great start.
