11. Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit
As with most memories involving Chris Benoit, history has tainted our hindsight, but at the time, this was a real gem of the undercard of the show. Unbelievably, this was the last match booked for the show, as coming out of No Way Out, Angle and Benoit werent anywhere near each other in storyline terms. Angle was still trying to get his WWF Championship back from The Rock, and Benoit was in the middle of a breakup with the Radicalz. Officially, this was a heel vs. heel match, as Benoit hadnt officially turned babyface yet. Still though, Angle played the heel and Benoit the babyface. The mat wrestling to begin the match was superb, and the story of Angle taking it to the next level by punching Benoit, signaling okay, its time to brawl was well-told. The only real knock against the match was that the ending came out of nowhere, but because it was the first match between the two, it left the fans salivating for more from the two.
