With Watts gone WCW needed a new head honcho and Bischoff got the job. JBL calls this 'the most ineresting' part of Bischoff's career, as he went from a fourth string announcer, being below Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone in the pecking order, to being their boss. Bischoff said that Schiavone was never a communicative guy but took it in his stride. Bischoff basically said that the timing was right and that he was at the right place at the right time.
