17 Things We Learned From The Dudley Boyz On Talk Is Jericho

10. Leaving TNA

Jericho asks if D-Von was already gone from the company at the time that Bubba left, and he responds that he was. He calls the first three or four years with the company "pretty good" but says that after a while they just didn't see eye to eye and it left a bad taste in his mouth. He wishes them all the best but said he felt it was time for him to leave and it wasn't right to be there any longer. In terms of how Bubba felt about him leaving, he says D-Von did what he had to do and that once the two of them went their separate ways story-wise there was nothing left for them as a team, and they had agreed to try making it on their own. Bubba says he never had a desire to be a singles wrestler because he'd always loved tag teams, but D-Von wanted to be a solo, so they decided to give it a shot. He remarks that their singles runs were nice for a while and then they decided to get back together to do a brief nostalgia run with the Hardys. After that he says the well had ran dry and TNA wasn't doing what they needed to to get the company in the right position so they walked away.
