17 Things You Probably Missed From WWE Raw (July 19)

5. Shanky Took 34 Chair Shots

Was this the most consecutive steel chair shots taken in WWE history? It could be, but one would need to go back and check out some of Mick Foley's matches (mainly his "I Quit" bout with The Rock) to find out. Shanky took a lot of them though.

34, to be precise. Thirty four!

Drew smashed the big man with a first round of 14 shots. Then, after a brief break, he went back for another 20. The crowd in Dallas counted along with each strike. Meanwhile, Shanky probably wondered what he'd done to earn such a beating.

Perhaps he suggested that McIntyre's beloved Rangers wouldn't win the Scottish Premiership title again.

4. A Sly Dig From WWE?

Charlotte Flair WWE Raw

Charlotte Flair has referenced ESPN's documentary on her father Ric a few times in interviews. Each time, Charlotte has said that continually being referred to as nothing more than "Ric Flair's daughter" bugs her. So, imagine what Flair will think when she sees WWE's entrance graphic from Raw.

It noted that she's the "daughter of WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair", after all. What's more, WWE's line was front and centre on the graphic.

3. How Well Charlotte Handled “Becky” Chants

Someone get Becky Lynch some ice for this burn.

Fans in Dallas chanted, "Becky! Becky! Becky!" when Charlotte kicked off her promo. Shutting that sh*t down, Flair said, “Yes yes - Becky, Becky is home breastfeeding while I’m dominating the entire women’s division”. That, ladies and gentlemen, is one hell of a line from the heel.

Enough time has passed, so WWE can repeat Flair vs. Lynch for the millionth time if they wish. It does seem to still be the biggest women's match Raw has for SummerSlam, although it'd need to be non-title now that Charlotte has dropped the belt.
