17 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (July 30)

14. Make Up Your Mind, Dude

Look carefully at the above .GIF and you'll see a guy in one of Roman Reigns "Wreck Everyone" t-shirts cheering for Cena. Dude, how could you? John was even badmouthing the current Universal Champion at the time.

This is how much those reactions to Cena have changed. He's no longer booed out of the building, and has support from those who love the heels too. These are strange times, people.

13. Anyone Out There Who Doesn’t Know?

What was the purpose of this?

WWE ran a graphic that said Rey Mysterio is the "father of Dominik Mysterio". Was there anybody out there watching SmackDown who, y'know, didn't know that? It's like the production team just had some empty space to fill and thought that'd do.

Next week: Rey Mysterio wears a mask.

12. Murphy Getting A Mention

This was much more unexpected.

WWE randomly showed highlights from one of Dominik Mysterio's earliest matches. It was a tag effort alongside Rey against Seth Rollins and Murphy. Michael Cole even named Mr. 'Don't Call Me Buddy, buddy' for good measure.

This company don't make a habit of name-dropping released wrestlers, so this stood out.
