17 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (July 30)

8. Cena Could Rob Reigns Of A Full Year

Roman Reigns Paul Heyman
WWE

WWE's graphic said that Roman Reigns has held the Universal Title for 333 days (334 at time of writing). Come SummerSlam on 21 August, he'll have reached the 356 day mark, which is just a stone's throw away from 365 and a full year in the SmackDown hot seat.

In other words, John Cena could stop Roman short of a year on the next pay-per-view. Surely not.

7. What Roman Was Laughing At

John Cena Roman Reigns
WWE

Cena's return means a comeback for those dudes who like to dress up as their hero, buy replica belts and hang out around ringside. Do that and you'll be laughed at by the 'Tribal Chief' - that's just the way it is, sorry. Reigns had a right good chuckle at two chaps in Cena merch here.

He kept giggling, and giggling...and giggling.

This was tremendous heel work from Roman. To be fair, the lads in question got a good kick out of it too. Everyone had fun, which is how it should be.

6. Flying Finn

Baron Corbin Finn Balor
WWE

What a bump Finn Bálor took.

He went arse over tit big time for Baron Corbin, and that made the down-on-his-luck heel look strong. Seriously, check out the way Finn hurled himself through the air over one barrier into another when Corbin got his hands on him.

This bodes well for their upcoming match.
