Kim began her WWE career in late 2002 under inauspicious circumstances, trading victories with Dawn Marie in bra & panties matches at house shows.

Her career in WWE soon picked up steam, however, as in her televised debut in the summer of 2003, Gail won the Women’s Championship. Unfortunately, she was on the injured list at the time of Wrestlemania 20. If it was any consolation, she probably wouldn’t have made it to Madison Square Garden anyway, as Molly Holly had to volunteer to shave her head to even get a Women’s Title match on the card in the first place.

After being released by WWE later that year, Kim spent the best years of her career in TNA, where as perennial Knockouts Champion she earned a lot of respect but very little money. Her situation in WWE would turn out to be just the opposite. Kim returned to WWE in March 2009, just in time to earn a spot in the overcrowded 25-Diva battle royal at Wrestlemania 25, where she and Jillian Hall eliminated each other before Santino Marella in drag ultimately won the match. She would also come up short in the ten-Diva tag at Mania 26.
