Despite countless questionable treatment from Vince McMahon over the years, the veteran broadcaster utilised his spot on Monday Night Raw throughout the 1990s and most of the 2000s to cement his reputation as the greatest play-by-play announcer in the history of the industry.

A challenging period in his personal life thankfully coincided with a warm return to the WWE fold in 2017, with the WrestleMania main event and UK Championship duties given to the Oklahoma native. His fondly-remembered partnership with Jerry 'The King' Lawler may provide the soundtrack to the Manhattan Center happenings.
