16. Heath Slater's Kids Don't Matter To The Beast
Immediately following the brand split, the undrafted Heath Slater was working a gimmick where he was trying to earn gainful employment on either Raw or SmackDown Live. He would take turns appearing on each show to try and convince the respective GMs that he deserved a spot on the roster.
On an episode of Raw The One Man band made his way down to ringside to challenge Brock Lesnar because he had a family to feed, and if facing The Beast was what it was going to take to get a steady paycheck then he was game.
Paul Heyman tried to warn Slater of the mistake he was making but Lesnar cut him off, telling Heath that he also had kids and was a family man. For a brief moment we thought we were seeing a sentimental side of Brock that rarely makes itself visible. Sadly for Slater that was not to be.
The former WWE and UFC champion quickly stepped into Heath's face and told him, "I don't give a sh*t about your kids."
Slater didn't take the insult lying down and attempted to defend the honor of his family but instead the tornado that is Lesnar blew Heath's double-wide all the way to Suplex City.
For a man who speaks so rarely, when he does it's often in powerful moments such as these.
