18 HUGE WWE WrestleMania 36 Predictions You Need To Know

17. Aleister Black Vs. Bobby Lashley

Welcome to the saddest match on the card, in which Aleister Black gets a singles WrestleMania match at his second attempt despite Dolph Ziggler waiting decades for one and the man from Amsterdam not even being involved in a storyline with his opponent...or anybody, for that matter.

A bit of scant Raw set-up stuff was never going to cover the necessary here, because things in the background have long trumped those in the foreground for the former NXT Champion. It is crystal clear that a number of different people at WWE's top table enjoy Black's work and see big things for him, but the choice to go with Drew McIntyre for Brock Lesnar's WrestleMania opponent rendered him seemingly surplus after the fact.

He won a feud against AJ Styles in which he played set-up man for the loser. So what did he really win? Evidently, a spot on this card against a Bobby Lashley floating so aimlessly for most of his WWE return that he's confirmed Impact Wrestling's ability to somehow make a talent more relevant than the industry leader.

This sucks and you know it does and don't even pretend otherwise.

Winner - Aleister Black
