16. The Maddest Vince Has Ever Been At Him
Mick talks about how we all know that Vince is an emotional man and wants to know what the maddest his father has ever been at him is. Shane has to ponder this one a long moment before coming up with an answer and recalls one time specifically.
He tells Mick "obviously you're aware I'm a little bit of an adrenaline junkie" and there was a time when he was around 17 years old when he defied his father's order to never ride on his friend's motorcycle. Defying those commands, one day he hopped on the bike and took off wearing no helmet, just shorts and sneakers and flew up and down the road far exceeding the speed limit.
He didn't realize Vince was home at the time and when he pulled in the driveway Vince was calmly excusing Pat Patterson and others who had been at the house working, who bolted because they knew how p*ssed off Vince was.
