19 Big Predictions For CM Punk's Career In UFC

9. The First Fight Will Be In November

CM Punk and Dana White have said that it will take six months of solid training for the 36 year old to get in fighting shape. Honestly, Punk needs to be training multiple disciplines all day every day right now. At that point, on the first of July, Punk should be in condition to go through a proper three month training camp. That takes us up to September 2015, but these things are never straightforward, so go with another two months of prep - which puts Punk fighting for the first time in November 2015. He'll be 37 by then and it is nearly a full year away, but this is ultimate fighting, you've got to put the time in. If Punk wants to make an impact, it is better that he takes as much time as possible to work on all the aspects of MMA. This is a guy basically starting from scratch.
