6. UFC PPV Buys Will Get A Boost, But Nothing Like Lesnar UFC Numbers
Pay per view buys will be up in part to CM Punk for whatever show he features on. WWE fans and other casual fans are going to check the guy out. MMA fans are also going to watch just to see him get his a** kicked. He sells well to a lot of people, for a lot of reasons. One of the reasons is he's a great talker, just like UFC's Conor McGregor, he can sell a fight with his mouth. However, CM Punk isn't a Brock Lesnar. He doesn't have the same look or aura, he isn't a beast. The buys aren't going to be that dramatically up, but a buyrate in the 500,000 range seems probable. Bear in mind as well that UFC will probably put a top fight on the card, too. It isn't like Punk will be the only thing selling a show. If he can string together a few wins and increase his MMA perception, that's when the buys will really go up.
