The thought of a murdered child is the worst thing ever, but when it comes to Daniel she knew that both Chris and Nancy loved him more than anything in the world, as did she and she can't decipher what was going through Benoit's head and heart when he took his son's life.

Her brother-in-law knew that if anything ever happened to he and Nancy that Sandra would take care of Daniel as if he were her own son, shooting down the hypothesis that Chris did it because he wouldn't have anyone to take care of him once his parents were gone.

All she can think is that it was a selfish last act, but other than that she can't put a reason behind it. She doesn't know how far Chris's thought process was even going, saying he may have been completely out of his mind.
