It was during an All Out 2022 go-home promo in Chicago that CM Punk tried to switch from being a defeated shell of himself to a potential champion reborn thanks to the love and support of his fellow Chicagoans.

It worked, mostly, but he didn't take too kindly to one specific heckler during his speech, and uttered the above line seemingly out of nowhere while talking about his surgically repaired foot.

It'd be revealed days later exactly how frustrated with life he was, but this was a brief sign of the things to come. He corrected himself almost immediately, saying "I probably shouldn't have said that. But I probably shouldn't have done a lot of things in my career, and apparently one of them was coming back too early from a very serious injury", but the damage was done. The former and future Champion had failed to hide his annoyance with the state of play, but taken it out on a punter instead of some of the people he perceived to have been at fault.
