In any other year the biggest wrestling story of the year, CM Punk's explosive rant following All Out 2022 remains as captivating as it is uncomfortable, as it is destructive.

Airing his grievances with a company that for the longest time looked set up to accommodate his every wrestling whim and desire, Punk tore into The Elite and Hangman Page specifically, all as Tony Khan sat there not really knowing where to send his thousand-yard stare.

It was the beginning of the beginning of the end, ultimately. Punk was nursing an injury from the match he'd had with Jon Moxley, but the situation escalated after a fight broke out between the two sides. Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were suspended and stripped of the Trios Titles, while 'The Straight Edge Superstar' and now-former two-time AEW Champion served his own one on the shelf.
