19 Things WRESTLING Wants You To Forget About CM Punk

3. Banning A Head Of Talent Relations From Buildings

CM Punk's time in AEW felt untenable before he returned, but any attempts to completely undone at an early stage when it was revealed that Head Of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels wasn't welcome at Collision thanks to Punk himself.

It was Haus Of Wrestling's Nick Hausman who offered the full reason, noting that;

Notably, Christopher Daniels’ involvement in the post-AEW All Out altercation was specifically portrayed to us as the reason The Fallen Angel is not at Collision. Since Ace Steel, Punk’s good friend, was also involved in the altercation but not allowed to return backstage for Collision, Punk is said to feel the same about Daniels and does not want him backstage either.

Either by accident or design, battle lines were being drawn and an ongoing turf war couldn't have ended well. Not least with a figure with Daniels' backstage power removed from view. Punk also saw to it that Matt Hardy wasn't there, but this article's to do with the more divisive moments in his career, so on we move.
