15. His Tag Team Partner At Backlash 2006 Was God

It wasn't an actual person, though. It was "God" as his partner. It was done because Michaels was known for his religious beliefs when he returned to WWE in 2002, so Vince felt like it would be a great idea to have God as his tag team partner. Prior to the show, we had no idea what they were going to do for the angle. They decided to shine a spotlight down the aisle during the entrance of God and McMahon even had some funky music playing to try to make it more interesting. That segment was terrible whether you're a religious person or not. It was painful to watch. If you're wondering, Michaels ended up losing the match due to plenty of interference while McMahon promised on Shawn's 2007 DVD that it was something that will never happen again. Thank God for that!
