12. That He Probably Dated Sunny
Sunny, real name Tammy Sytch, was one of the most popular and best looking WWE divas ever. She entered WWE in the mid 1990s with boyfriend Chris Candido as Skip and Sunny the Bodydonnas. She was basically the first example of what would become a WWE diva. Sunny has done a lot of shoot interviews where she has revealed things like her secret affair with Michaels. According to her, not that many people knew about it, but they had a relationship for about 8 months. Michaels has never publicly commented on his relationship with Sunny although a number of wrestlers have mentioned over the years that they knew about Michaels dating her. The timeline she gave for their history was in 1996. Here's a clip of an audio interview from Tom Brandi, a WWE wrestler in the mid 1990s, that shows that Candido was likely oblivious about it or at least he didn't say anything to her because his job was important. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYD4P8f01fY As most fans also know, Michaels made a "Sunny Days" comment on WWE TV during his feud with Bret Hart that infuriated Hart because Hart was a married man. It was done as Shawn's way to piss off Hart since Hart was a married man at the time. We don't know if she really was seeing Hart at the time although she has denied it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T16HHBVl2wI The reason Michaels likely never talks about is he's become a changed man that has moved on. Michaels ended up marrying his wife Rebecca in 1999, they have a son and daughter together and appear to be very happy together. In a funny sort of twist, Sunny ended up being inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame in 2011 the same year as Michaels.
