19 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (July 9)

10. Thankful For The Dome!

WWE ThunderDome Fan Sign

That's a wrap on SmackDown in the ThunderDome, people. Few will be sad to see those screens go, but one fan held up a sign thanking WWE for their Zoom call hospitality over the past year or so. His sign simply said, "Thanks For ThunderDome".

Sorry, pal, but that sh*t is getting torn down ASAP.

9. Watch The Botch

Shinsuke Nakamura Baron Corbin Botch

Shinsuke Nakamura doesn't botch much, but this didn't look great.

He went for what looked like a back cracker on Corbin. Either Naka bumped too early or Baron didn't read the spot, because both men fell to the mat at different times; the result was that Shin's knee barely connected with Corbin's back.

Towards the end of the .GIF cycle above, you'll see Pat McAfee trying to sell the move as devastating with his reaction. No chance, Mr. McAfee. Just you stick to playing air guitar on the announce desk and literally sitting on top of Michael Cole's head.

8. Something You’ve Probs Forgotten

Jimmy Jey The Usos

Being honest, a lot of people have probably already forgotten that Jey Uso won that André The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy on a special "WrestleMania SmackDown" before WWE rolled into Raymond James Stadium this past April.

This fan certainly did.

The giant trophy was visible in the background during a conversation Jey and his brother Jimmy were having in Roman's private dressing room. This isn't something that WWE will take out on the road when they begin touring properly again.
