19 Wrestlers From Raw's Debut Year Who Are No Longer With Us

6. Paul Bearer

William Moody never quite had the look to make it as a professional wrestler, but that didn€™t stop him from entering the business in a managerial role. Originally starting out as Percival Pringle III, he would go on to achieve worldwide fame as Paul Bearer when he managed the Undertaker. Paul Bearer appeared fairly sporadically during the first year of Raw, though his Undertaker was involved in a feud with Giant Gonzales that saw the evil Mr Hughes steal the magical urn when both he and Gonzalez were under the managerial reins of Harvey Wippleman. Bearer was also involved in the build to Taker€™s match against Yokozuna at 1994€™s Royal Rumble. Unfortunately Bearer started suffering health issues in March 2013, eventually undergoing treatment for a blood clot. Soon after this he passed away as a result of a heart attack at the age of 58. Bearer€™s accomplishments within the business were honoured with his entry into the following year€™s WWE Hall of Fame.
