19 Wrestlers From Raw's Debut Year Who Are No Longer With Us

3. Owen Hart

The Rocket is a man who needs no introduction and many believe that he is the best wrestler to never wear the WWE Championship. A product of the famed Hart Dungeon, Owen€™s feuds and alliances with his brother Bret and the rest of the Hart family are amongst the most storied and best wrestled in WWE history. When Raw first hit the air Hart was still teamed with Koko B. Ware and was wearing that hideous pair of parachute pants to the ring. He eventually got to show more of his talents as the year progressed, with the tail end of 1993 signalling the start of the storyline between he and Bret that would propel Owen to the main event for a short period of time. Most wrestling fans will know of the tragic fate that befell Owen. While working under the Blue Blazer gimmick, Owen fell to his death during the Over The Edge PPV in 1999 while being lowered to the ring in a harness. He was just 34 years of age and was truly in the prime of his career when the accident happened.
